Cows And Buffaloes Milk Yield Competition

Milk Yield Competition is started in the state to encourage the animal keepers to take more interest in Animal Husbandry and to select good pedigree male bull calves and buffalo calves. Winners are encouraged by cash prize and certificate. For awarding the prizes 24 hours milk yieldforof the cow and buffalo is taken in to the consideration and in each breed of cows and buffaloes .

For the year 2010, total 1570 applications were received and for the prize money total Rs.189000/- is earmarked and 252 certificates will be issued to the owners of the winners cows and buffaloes. The milk production of 24 hours.
